Schertler - Yellow MIC 500 TT Preamplifier

YELLOW MIC 500 TT is a single-channel, Class-A, 500 series microphone preamp designed for user installation in a 500 series Lunchbox rack equipped with the Lundahl transformer on in- and output.

It is equipped with a 12-step rotary switch for adjusting input sensitivity (in 3dB increments) and a gain control for use in weak signal conditions, or when connecting sources such as ribbon mics. There is a 10-segment VU meter with peak hold, a two-position phase reverse switch and a 48V phantom power switch.

High-quality electronics are contained within a shielded metal enclosure. Only discrete electronics are used in the signal circuitry and No NFB is applied for faster attack and improved slew rate. Power supply rails with active filter are designed to improve Power Supply Rejection Ratio (PSRR). A low-noise matched transistor array is installed.
